Hello !
I am Banhi. I am a software professional,working in Bangalore.
I was always interested in fine arts and have earlier worked with water colours and pencil-sketching, as a hobby. Its been a year since I started working with oils and I am enjoying every bit of it. Expressions is my regular weekend haunt and I try to attend the weekend classes without fail.
In oil paintings, I am especially interested in abstract art and serene landscapes.
I love the works of artists belonging to the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist period - especially those of Monet, Van Gogh, Manet, Renoir and Cezanne. I also find the works of Raja Ravi Verma, Nandalal Bose and Jamini Roy extremely interesting.
